Project idea
The goal was to test whether AI could make cybersecurity analysis faster by helping with log review, anomaly detection and summarizing raw events into a clearer situation picture.
How the flow works
The concept starts with log data collection. AI-assisted processing analyzes the data, checks for unusual patterns and highlights essential findings. If nothing relevant is found, the flow stays quiet. If something stands out, it creates a clearer overview for the investigator.
Human decision-making stays central
The project is not built around blindly trusting AI. The human investigator still reviews the findings, decides whether the issue needs further investigation and owns the final decision. AI is used as support, not as the authority.
Why it matters
Cybersecurity teams often deal with large amounts of noisy log data. A useful AI layer could reduce manual reading, make weak signals easier to notice and help analysts build a situation overview faster during investigations.
Outcome
The project strengthened the idea that AI has real value in cybersecurity when it is used to support analysis and prioritization. The useful part is not automation for its own sake, but faster understanding and better decision support.
